Wheeleez Bearings

I was installing wheels on the aluminum axle of a Wheeleez cart after I landed and noticed the bearings are not moving. That means the hub has been spinning on the axle instead of the bearings spinning. I'm not sure how long that has been going on but I launch in the sand a lot so I plan on servicing the bearings a couple of times a year. The bearings had serious grinding going on...the ones that were spinning anyway, two were totally locked up.

This video is good but a bit long winded.

I think graphite is a good idea.

Might think abut replacing the Nylock nuts each time.  They're generally single-use then replace items.

there is supposed to be a large felt  pad ( washer ) just in front of the bearings to aid in keeping the sand out.     I've noticed that quite a few of the Wheeleze  wheels  did not have that felt pad installed. 
   I think the  factory worker responsible for assembling that day must have been smokin pot...

It bothers me with how expensive Wheeleez are, that they don't use sealed bearings. Unacceptable design for the most expensive kayak cart on the market.
