planned on going out of coral street, but at 6:30 there were whitecaps out past the kelp.  The swell had the kelp beds looking like a sine wave.  Was heading back towards MBK when I decided that otter cove looked OK in the kelp.  In the kelp found a few bluegill sized blues.  Moved to the deeper water but even with a drift anchor was getting blown around too much.  a few kelp rockfish nothing great.

however I think I was more comfortable than this seal resting on a too small pointy rock.

Wind was howling today. Whitecaps were everywhere from HMB to SC. Swells were not small either. It was not easy to fish with this type of conditions.

sackyak and I are thinking of opening a fish taco, coffee, and kayak guide service so that we can quit our day jobs.  Maybe we can add natural chiropractic to the shingle. :smt003

Man you should have joined me at CRSB.  While it was windy I did end up with tacos and a few to give away.  It sure was a beautiful morning in spite of the wind.  I need to get into some big fish.  What about a Big Sur run next weekend?
