are all over coastside... looks to be a long paddle though. EXCEPT - i see this report saying they found fish feeding on dines in tight to the kelp (no #s of course).

SO - Norcalers - rack your brains.  most of these guys are heading to 13 and 11 or so..where is the kelp?
I keep thinking of the beds just off the head, but what else? South? seems that you have to go pretty far to get into kelp south...or am i forgetting something?

Steve,
don't know any kelp near by. What is the link to the coastside reports? I'd like to take a look myself.

Thanx, Jonesz

Out around the fleet at 13-11 there were several small floating paddies of kelp. I dont know, but it did seem that was where the fish were. even though we were hooking up at 130' OTW.

I was out in from of my house yesterday on the yak and there was a long line of rafting kelps.  I fished it for a couple hours with no luck.

How windy was it??
I am thinking about hitting Sonoma coast this saturday but the wind reports are not so favorable as to spend the $$ on gas.

Sorry for the late response, but it is REAL windy.  Save that mojo for another day brother.
