Welcome bro! While waiting for your accessories I recommend you to hit the nearby lake and familiarize yourself of your new ride, make necessary adjustments and Learn self rescue. Doing all these now will give you more time Fishing when you’re out there in the big deep blue! Good luck, see you OTW!
No ocean too deep, no tide too high, no weather too bad...Let’s go paddle around and have some fun! Fish on!

Yessir !

I’ve taken the kayak out once to a lake and spend half day practicing self rescue,

Flipping the kayak getting on from the back of the kayak is easiest for me,

I’m almost ready to go out waiting on vhf radio and booties for my feet

Welcome Ken I’m noobie also and wouldn’t mind trying to figure this stuff out w/ someone else. Haven’t had a chance to fish w/ any members yet but if I have the time I’m down to fish.

Hello Ken and Mike  :smt006
I'm a noobie here too. I live in SF and down to troll together sometime.
Henry

Fishing is boring, unless you catch an actual fish, and then it is disgusting.
