well chuck beat my record of 7 undersize halibut today I my self turnlose just
one, but it was a nice day on the water so I am not unhappy I could been worse
the water was nice most of the day got bumpy for awhile but not to bad

look for a livebait trip this weekend bait is on me

Duane, thanks again for the hook-up and primo bait.  That place is a darn halibut nursery.

I caught 8 halibut with the biggest going only 21.5"

Where did the big ones go?

A good day to get out and enjoy, at least. 
I always figure its funner to stay busy catching SOMETHING than nothing at all...  till you notice the dent the little buggers are putting in your bait supply!
I seem to remember last year was similar.  Nice sized fish caught early on, then later the place became littered with bait gobbling runts.

Wish I had some of that bait down here....
