Hi All, I"m out of Folsom and trying to put more hours on my Kayak.  Will want to invest in a Hobie this year hopefully.  However, I need to justify it by catching more fish and good times out on the water.  My main problem is that not many of my friends kayak fish.

Are there may Kayak fishers from my area that like to go to new places along the coast?  I'm fairly new to ocean kayak fishing, but I have been outside HMB jetties 3 times but did not catch anything except some croakers.  To give you an idea.

I would really love to try TOmales Bay for butt's and crab while still in season.

I would be game for anything NOrth of that area too.

I can camp and bring kayak.

THanks for reading and hopefully we can hook up!

Jing

Hi Jing

I live West Sacramento and typically head to Sonoma or Mendocino Coast with my wife for weekend camping and kayak fishing.   This weekend we are heading to Russian Gulch.

Also, have a friend, lives in Rocklin, always looking for a kayak buddy.
You can PM me and I can provide you with his information.

There's a strong showing of NCKAers in Sac for you to fish with; and also a whole fleet of Bay Area yak'rs too...

Follow the forums, look for Hookups or events and join the party!

There will a a few hitting up ARW (Alameda Rock Wall) to due a little halibut fishing; including folks participating in a Handline FnC. You don't need to handline to join in the Fishing & Chilling; just come out to meet some of the peeps who share the same passion as you.

Thats what NCKA is all about!!!

Anybody from Roseville/sac area wanna carpool to ocean cove with me tomorrow?  Leaving at 3 am and fishing until or so.  Split the gas and save some cash!  I can take 1 or two more kayaks with me.
