I'm downsizing from a 4 car to a 2 car garage and will need to store my kayak on the wall of the garage.  A hoist will not work at the new home.  Does anyone know of a good low cost solution for a rack on the wall of a garage (I trust you all more than I trust the internet)

went with 2 50lb wall brackets from home depot mounted into the studs (Cost less than $10).  I will get a little bit of a workout everytime I take it down and put it back up as they are 5 feet off of the floor.  Needed the clearance so the suv door does hit when opened (small garage)
