Rockfish opener w/ the boys...

We hit Santa Cruz bright and early... Water was like glass early in the morning...very little wind.  Didn't have our first strike until around 7:45am.  Threw back a bunch of small blacks, kelp rockfish, and  caught a ling 2" too small.  Wind picked up around 11:00am and we eventually called it. 

Braddah Darren landed the keeper ling...  From what I heard... he's already eaten it and we'll clearly need to get back out soon to start filling the freezer!

Looks like the wind should be good. The swell is supposed to pick up some, but should still be OK.
