Picked up a couple of these at The Fishermans Corner in lodi,Ca $58.00 plus tax  Cabales $48 plus shipping Alumn cast frame 5.1 :1 retrieve Reel weight 12.5oz  holds 290yd 10llb  250yd 12lb 200 yd  14lb
Installed 10lb trilene big game(290yd cap)
While trolling and fighting fish (when lucky enough to hook one)was getting a lot of line twist from my spinning reel setup.(I do use good swivels)(and inline rudder on different setups)(and i know about pump and wind) Mated the reels up with a couple of 7ft 2 to 6lb UL poles
Took them for a trial run (5hrs) at the QUARRY. With the clicker engaged and in free spool and a 3lb weight on my down riggers, line came off the reel smoothly. The line counters told me how far back the lure was.
When a 4.4lb planter was ingaged, the drag responded smoothly during the struggle.
Lot less line twist.Looks like these reels will be spending a few more hrs in my rod holders. I am a troller.
GO FISHING AND ENJOY THE OUTING I DO

I've been using the Daiwa Sealine 17LCA and 27LCA line counters for the past year for rockfishing and salmon.  They are one step up from the Accudepth I guess.  Good little reels and have held up well in saltwater.  Upgraded the drags to Penn HT100 carbon fiber ala Alan Tani and they are like butta'.  They are very good reels for the buck and I like having the linecounter for rockfishing and salmon trolling.
