Good for you, ProwlinNorCal! Practice makes perfect, they say, but, more than that, I think it builds stamina and confidence. Keep at it!

Thanks BigJ.

We should plan a fisherwOmen meet in Monterey.
I'd love to meet the other women out there doing this crazy kayak fishing thing like me! (Am I crazy..... or do I just know how to have a good time!  :smt004)

Maybe on a Sunday in July/August. HEY EVERYONE -  :smt006 What dates work for you?? Send them to me and maybe we can do this.

Hey Janice,  :smt006

Back to what started this thread, the calendar :smt012. I think the calendar is a great idea. However, NCKA is not just about men. It's about a family of fine people who share a great interest, KAYAK FISHING  :headbang: That's what brought me here. I would really support an NCKA calendar  :smt045. There is plenty of photos available in the gallery to include all members, events, families, tailgate parties and some of the awesome photos of fish that have been caught by NCKA anglers in general. What say you Hojoman?

Thanks Janice for letting me jump in and add my 2 cents worth. Everyone I've met on this forum has been great and I'm very glad to be a part of this family. I've got members in my own back yard I haven't even met yet - Seabreeze, Sackyak and many others I am finding out about through this forum. I hope you can make it to the August MBK event. By the way, I haven't got Marie to fish yet but she loves to paddle the bay. Looking forward to paddling with you soon Janice. Thanks again and hope to see you soon  :thumright:.

My calendar is filling up fast, but I hope to be at the MBK tournament on Sunday, August 26. How about meeting then? or as a women's splinter group from that event?

Big J, Ben,

I don't remember if you saw what I passed off to Mooch at the opening of the Aquan Center in San Mateo. I had made kayak fishing calendars (one month per page)  for him and ChuckE of their favorite subjects...themselves. :) If you're interested, I'd be willing to make a calendars for you of however many people would like to see themselves on the walls of their office or home. Could be anywhere from a 12-month calendar on out. I print calendars every year for everyone on my annual tuna fishing trip out of San Diego.

Hey Hojoman,

Yes I did see the calendars in San Mateo, my reason for chiming you in on this. I thought they were great! I am interested in having one made. I guess my question would be if others in NCKA are interested in the calendar with photos of our NCKA members and events? Just trying to support Big J and other women (and our children) on the subject. Haven't heard much response from my post so maybe it's a mute point. I will be in contact wiith you because I am interested. Thanks for responding and hope to see you soon.

Hello all,

I am a newbie, but I think a calendar of all of us kayaking/fishing would be really cool. That's my 2 cents  :smt004
