Hi all!
New to kayak fishing but not new to fishing. Just bought a slightly used 2017 PA 14. It was a way to combine my love of chukar hunting and fishing on the same trips. Cant pull a boat, dogs, a quad and a toy hauler all at the same time, but with a kayak I can! Its been stressful ordering all the stuff to outfit it. I have everything so far, except the Hobie Ram Ball 1.5' h rail mount. Who would have thought those would be back ordered for a month this time of year. Hard to mount my new Elite 9 ti2 without it, so I am bummed. Anyway thanks for a cool website, looking forward to chatting with you all.-Brian

Smoked carp tastes just as good as smoked salmon when you ain't got no smoked salmon.

Welcome...crazy thought but do you even need to mount it in the meantime...can't it just be on the cables in some safe"ish" location, out of your way yet functional, it is waterproof and the cables are like a tether... :smt006
