Back then we bought a 15ft of 18" Dia. Pipe from an irrigation & landscape store and had them cut it out to approximately 2 and a half Feet each.  The wall is much thicker than the 12" Dia. tube and a lot heavier.  I would prefer to use the 12"x24" tube nowadays for easy to transport.  Here is another fun day in the mud trip at LL  :smt003

That 18” pipe gives a lot of shoulder room to get those super deep ones out.

Might have to go play in the mud next minus tide.

found a 12" pvc pipe about 24" long, I'll give that a try and go from there.
