I'm from the area (Modesto) but now live in San Jose.  Used to fish the Stan between Oakdale and Tulloch growing up.  Still visit family there but sadly don't get to fish the area much anymore.

Thinking you might have posted this in the wrong section - that is unless you have a trip in the works.

Tightline,

Used to be from Arnold. Great fishing in the Sierra's and in the foothill lakes. IT is almost the season to hit Hogan for stripers. Wlcome to the "madness!"  :smt001

I used to fish way up there on the T, with a buddy in a rubber zodiac.  Was good for both smallies and LMB. I can't recall where the heck we put in, but now i'm thinking, "why haven't I ever gone up there in my yak?"

I live in Mtn View now but used to live in Modesto.  Parents/Family still live in Merced/Atwater/Winton/Waterford areas.

I get out to McClure once in a while but don't usually have time to do much venturing to other lakes.  I'll most likely be out there on Sunday 6/24 and will probably try to get some fishing in early in the morning.

Hi Tightline,

I'm in Modesto, and fish The tuolumne and the local lakes year around. I hit the ocean every chance I get too.

Drop a note next time you head out, welcome aboard
