My name is Randall Smith. I am new to kayak fishing and have gotten a Vibe Sea Ghost 130 which I am slowly outfitting. My fishing history involves flyfishing in rivers and lakes throughout California, Idaho and elsewhere. I live in Marin County and I'm interested in getting into some salt water fishing closer to home. I have been out at China Camp on several occasions and want to learn more about striper fishing. The NCKA website is full of useful information. I look forward to meeting some of you on the water. Randall

Welcome! Take your time setting up your kayak. The more you use it and the more you go out with other kayakers, the more you will learn about what you need and dont. See you on the water.

Thank you all. Between the forum and Youtube, I'm learning some of the do's and don'ts - like get off San Pablo Bay at China Camp before the tide drops to 2'. I hope to meet some of you on the water.
