Sonoma County Ink

Looking for recommendations for a Tattoo shop here in SoCo,preferably someplace where you had work done.

Depends on what kind of work... Japanese style?

I'm pretty tatted up and know the importance of a good skilled artist. You'll likely have to travel to find top notch. I can tell you that some of the guys at Oreilly's tattoo (Santa Cruz) are of the highest caliber but it also comes with like a 9 month waitlist. I've been getting my sleeve done there by Adam Barton.

Damen Tesch up here in Humboldt does some pretty killer work. He designs the artwork for TRW. Second sight is the name of the shop on 5th in Eureka, not sure if he’s on here but he’s on Facebook and LCKA.

Cajun has had work done by him. I do not have any ink myself, but if I were so inclined he is who I would go see.

Faith tattoo in santa Rosa is the bomb.

Just don't choose anyone who has ever been on the Ink Master TV show. Bad tats most of the time. Then again, the format of the show is more to project drama rather than skill.

Dana of inky cells in Santa Rosa. She also custom paints motorcycle helmets! Has done work on a lot of my friends.

Jake Yarnal of crows nest in Santa Rosa. He did all of sams work. You wouldn’t know it but she is covered.

Both are owner/operators of their own shops and are normally booked months out though.

If it’s more of a walk in and get it done job the crew at Aces Over Eights in Petaluma is good as well.
