Hey everyone, my name is Steve and from San Jose, CA, hence the name SJSteve lol.
Just wanted to say hi and looking to learn a few things about kayak fishing, pick up some tips and tricks and overall just learn about the whole kayak community.
Just picked up a Perception Pescador Pilot. Haven't had the chance to take it out yet, but planning to soon, either out on the Delta or our local lakes.

Welcome, Steve from SJ. The Monterey Bay is nearby and I hear there are some fish there too...

Indeed their is. Im not new to fishing, just new to the kayak world.
Before my dad retired and moved back to Portugal, he had a 26' Bayliner and did a lot of fishing with him from HMB to Monterey.
The pic of me is back from 2010 when the big ghosts were out in the Monterey Bay.
Sure miss having that boat around.

Lately I've just been surf fishing, bank fishing on the Sac river for Striper or going out with by buddy on Delta on his bass boat and targeting black bass.
Figured I'd try the whole kayak fishing and get a chance to get on the water
