My wife was useing the AI and left the rear hatch open
She got swamped by a passing boat and the adventure took on enough water to submerge the main hull wile barley afloat only because of the poontunes I hauled her in the main hull was five inches under water and she was frecking out
So glade she was near shore
I swam out grabbed the bowline and pulled her in the water was not deep and she had a life jacket but panicked she wasn’t thinking

The point is secure you hatches
And keep your head on if we had been out in open water her inability to think clearly could have cost her life

It’s also a testament to the safety of the adventure series
glade you made it
now let's get our fish on

Holy cow! Glad that turned out OK.

Just curious if you have pool noodles stuffed inside the hull. I'd think that a fair number of pool noodles together with the foam blocks that come with the boat would keep it from submerging, even when swamped.

my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

After my roll at HMB, I lost a hatch, and the boat also flooded, I could get on and then go right back over again. Did that three times.  After that incident I hooked a bungee and keep a pump in a place where I can get to it to save my butt the next time.

I was too anxious to get out that I did not put back the O-ring for the transducer cable going into the hull. The access into the hull was actually below the waterline on my Revo16.  Slowly and surely I was going down.  Flipped over at the mouth of the harbor at Richmond.  Lost my drive too.  So it was a costly mistake.  Good thing the pool noodle kept the revo16 afloat.

Might be less obvious to remove the drain plug...
