This one almost got me. The Disco is not the smartest of river boats and was completely submerged, with momentum, and headed right into a possible situation. Sometimes when I can't avoid, I power through.

Nice to see moving water again. I think about all my SJR trips and I'd always wish I'd brought a little saw with me to clear brush after the big releases. Nice work clearing a path. Looks like a fun trip.

You were missed Scott. This trip reminded me of all those years we paddled without fishing gear.
We laughed until it hurt. I spotted some tires that ill be returning for with the right boat and you're invited.
Almost forgot, I also swam but it went undocumented.

Sort of at a loss here on why you would remove stream side vegetation that provides shade and a resting place for fish. Especially when  SCWA is spending millions to put it back into DC. That tree has been there for years and has been keeping so called fishermen from fishing the mouth?? Is that even legal ? was it an invasive species ?

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

The kid thought this was great and started looking for trash to get out of the water.

 Lower Owens clean up.
A pretty good haul but there was much more to gather.  Weight prevented me from bringing more out.
Over 30 salmon egg jars collected. Anglers are a big part of the problem.
