Salmon Net recommendations please

Looking for something long and light. Im up in mtns so cant run around try them all out. Anyone using the red telescopic extender net? Need brandnames... length -diameter etc so i can order online thx

This net is great.  I did remove the handle cover and saw off 10 inches to shed weight and make it easier to handle.

I use this one, Salmon Tangle-free....I just added pool noodle floatie.

Good quality and works well for me.

Lininger makes a nice net. You could order from the outdoor pro shop. Light weight and low resistance to water and air. They make a variety of sizes and shapes.

I don't like fishing with a great big net sticking way up above my kayak like a sail, so I use a Frabil Power Stow folding net, which I like a lot.  See http://www.frabill.com/nets-accessories/folding-nets.html . When I get a fish on, I keep tension on it with one hand, flip the net open, and push it out to the end of its handle with my toe.  This is a minor hassle, but for me it's preferable to carrying around a big non-folding net.  The second picture below shows the net stowed next to my cooler. The third and fourth pictures show the net bungied on top of my cooler.

Where did you find that for $50, and how small does it fold? I'd like to have something that can stow inside a Hobie round hatch.
