santa cruz 6/1 nada

  Fished .5 miles out front of harbor at the buoy for absolutely nothing but a few nibbles, with a squid skirt  with mylar insert and a bit of bait . Two weeks ago with same rig out nearly to mile buoy caught better than a dozen small And medium mixed rockfish.Nice day , darn near perfect drift.Live and learn. Could have been the week the halibut moved in tho maybe. Todd at bayside  caught a 19 lb hali today out front of harbor somewhere.
