The following YouTube video has a clip of the New Captain Pete just coming out of the Jaws at Half Moon Bay. Skip to 5:14 if you don't want to watch the other boats at other locations. Looks like it can get ugly there sometimes.

That NCP clip is in the lineup at mavericks.  The clip right before it of the high dollar cigarette boat getting vertical was at ocean beach and on the same day they green lit the mavericks surf comp.  It was way glassy on the outside that day, no idea what that guy was doing inside like that.

It's impressive how well the sailboat in that compilation does. I guess that's the advantage of having a 1-ton lead keel.
