Capitola Sharks From Power Boat 7/8/18

My buddy has an 18 foot Robalo from which we regularly fish the Santa Cruz area.  After spending the day fishing off Pleasure Point with his young son and his friend, we decided to go check out the rookery.  It did not take long to find the sharks.  Perhaps they found us...  We had three sharks in our field of view at one time, then saw a fourth one past them.  I can say definitively that there were at least 4 individuals; but probably more.  They were incredibility placid, and even curious. They would come out of there way to look at us.  A very cool experience which I recommend you try; from a PB. 10 to 20 feet of water between the Capitola pier and the ship. Most were nearer to the pier.

Lol. All but one of the individuals we saw were not too big. No larger than Bushy's Salmon sharks.  One of them however, was a every bit 10 feet long; and THICK.   

Think I'll keep my feet in the kayak from now on. Great video.
