Went fishing Thursday July 19 on a PB.  Trolled around the mile buoy and picked up a shaker 21 incher halibut, but the alternator was going out and wouldn't charge at trolling speeds.  We headed to Natural Bridges and only a few small rock cod and shorty lings were caught.  We headed back to the lighthouse and caught a few small rock cod a few shaker lings.  I then noticed a shark fin slowly moving on the surface.  My guess is that it was a juvenile Great White because of other numerous sightings in the area.

I was out there yesterday in my AI, and saw a HUGE mark on my FF then felt something dragging across my (braid) fishing line. It was way bigger than fish-sized, but less than whale-sized. I convinced myself it was a sea lion...
I don't like stuff that sucks.

Was out in Pillar Point this past weekend and saw what also seemed to be a juvenile great white just hanging around the surface near the buoys. I started peddling away... :)
