There will be a few folks there.  I might be able to manage one day.  Forecast looks great.

I'll be there before noon on Friday and fishing early Saturday morning, I've never fished here before & I'm by myself looking for hook ups.    Thanks Ken (gator).   White Dodge with black shell.

I'm not joking, there's gonna be a bunch of kayaks.  The Humboldt guys are doing a fish and chill weekend and theres a number coming from out of town too.  Been in the planning for weeks.  It's a good weekend to go to the cove.

I dunno if I'm going to make it :(  Might have to burn all the WAF points in the process.

Holy shit was that was a good time. For salmon it was a scratch bite. Dom picked up a very nice mix of salmon, lingcod and cali hali the first day. Aaron caught a very nice cali hali and I picked up a king salmon on the second day along with a thresher which I was determined to keep. After an hour and a half fight it took me from 33ft to 120 and we were both tired but it broke off. I had it boat side multiple times and just took my breath away it was so stunning. Kiet and Aaron had nice flatfish both days as well. Cohos are around so be able to identify when needed. Lots of good take downs, laughs and ate good for an all around good time. I wish I took more pics but thanks for posting the hookup Aaron.  It was good fishing hanging out with Kiet,  Aaron and Dom. Lots of other yakers as well.

The Salmon bite was slow for most, but we still had some fun.  Thanks Cameron for taking the Halibut pic for me.  Thanks Kiet for the gear and techniques.  It was great meeting some new friends and I'll see you all at Albion.
