To all I need a bit of help going to Lake Mendocino on the 29th and 30th for my first time. As far as the stripers, live minnows or live shad if you can catch them, any think else besides what Bill wrought in his article on Lake Mendocino stripers. For the Black Bass do they hit on the same stuff as the stripers, and what color sinkos should I have in my tackle box. Thank you all in advance for your info.

That is actually Sean's article. The software makes me the author just cause I posted it.

Minnows seem to work the best for everything. When I was there last the white zoom super fluke was doing really well.

Good luck man!

Pat, if you want to fish live bait, Shad is the bomb, all the bass eat it. Either slow trolled or still fished, it will work.If you want to target Largemouth , Senkos in the popular colors work as well as dropshotted worms and crankbaits.Crappie are around too they hit the little tubes good.
