I'm going to try fishing for the first time since I tore my meniscus so we shall see. I'll be launching from A dock around 6:30/7AM. I'll be on Ch 69. I realize most of you will be at Albion and I wish I was there as well but ping me on the water if you're in SC.

Hope you get is all out of your system and the injury healed nicely  :smt006

So let's start with the good news, my knee held up and didn't hurt :-)

Then somehow my alarm clock was running late so I woke up a bit late as well. Got to SC around 6:30AM and launched shortly after.

A LOT of baits right in front of the harbor and a lot of boats as well. So I tried my luck with my hali setup and paddle slowly toward the light house as the front of the harbor was to crowdy for my taste.

Right before the rock in the front of the lighthouse, a frickin RF heat my anchovy but it was a decent size blue so decided to keep it for lunch. The sad part is while I was dealing with the RF, I made the mistake of dropping my line and snagged and lost my favorite and only hali setup (most likely the most expensive RF ever....).
I switched to my fat boy swimbait with a little shrimp lure on a dropper loop and kept going past the light house point.  I got a decent size vermillon on the shrimp and that was about it.

Back home around noon and fish went straight to the grill.

It was nice to be on the water again
