Fished from Braitos (at the narrows) then around Anderson Island and back. The back water haunts at Braitos are no longer easily accessable. Not enough water this year and alot of plant growth have sealed off both intrances to a great "kayak only" zone.  Anderson Island is on fire. We did one loop around and had 28 healthy bass between the 3 of us. Most fish were taken very tight to the shore and in the trees. It was challenging to fight the fish and back paddle or you would get taken into the over hanging branches, this and we were fighting big wind waves again on the most productive side of the Island. Tragically neither of my cohorts were dumped by these conditions for the photo op. The carp are very active right now,on top of the tullies. I was told that all their thrashing is to disperse eggs. Anyone know otherwise?
Tonight is back to the northend, Konocti Vista to county park.

KB,
I thought that was you doing the jazzercise routine in the yard. Nice speedo.

Tonight was a little slower. Nothing on the frog or spinner bait. The chartruse senko at night has been hot in the shallows. Corinthian bay held a few larger fish tonight including a cat that came in over 7#s but was foul hooked. Still it took Mr Shirk on a long ride. Batt failure denied the photo op. Tommorrow is Blue Lakes.
