God bless all here who served and less we forget those who paid the ultimate price. I reflect on my father career in the Navy,35 years from 1942 to 1977. Europe, Pacific, Korea and 3x Vietnam. I miss him Thank's Dad I love you.

Hmmm, just because the 99 or so people that viewed this thread didn’t reply doesn’t mean they don’t know what Memorial Day is all about. There are other ways to commemorate our fallen brothers and sisters other than Responding to a thread, liking a Facebook post or other social media.

I always think of those that gave their lives for our country.  Do not feel mortified about those who choose not to respond.  It does not mean they do not care even if a few do not support our military.  It may be to emotional for some as many of us have lost friends and family.
