With little time to kayak but time to fish I decided to hit rockaway with the boy.  We got there a litte after 5 and I began plugging.  Good conditions but cold and windy, a definate summer pattern has moved in.  Casted and hour and half for nada but I did get some good intel. There are some nice sized schools of stripers moving up and down the coast from LM to Mussle rock.  This morning and last night Rockaway went off (of course I wasn't there) and about 10 minutes before I left a decent school was busting the surface about 100 yards off.  Only if I had the Yak.
