I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to see/try on this new PFD and can give any feedback regarding it?

I just ordered one of these from Backcountry.com.  Same price as from the manufacturer but with free shipping.  I should receive it Monday, just in time for a test run on Tuesday.  I will report in after a trial run.

My motto-Try before you buy.
I was going to order this online too. I tried one on at CCK first and personally didn't care for it.
Just my preference. I am not saying anything negative about it. Just didn't feel 'right' for me. I hope it works perfect for you guys.
I was at REI and tried on several different PFD's the other day. I REALLY liked the ExtraSport Retroglide Sabre.

I will definitely try it on one more time before I decide to take the plunge or not.

ChuckE and I tried this PFD on a couple of weeks ago at CCK. Very comfortable set up more for the fly people but very doable. They had a co2 inflatable that I am thinking of getting which was even more comfortable but its down fall is reliability. What would happen to the inflation device in salt if not rinsed properly a couple of times. Two cent Frank

Yep, I'm an extrasport man myself. Worn out 2 so far (now they are saved for guests) and my current is the retroglide sabre.

The Sabre has a full back, so if you have a high back seat, make sure you sit in it.  The Solstice has a mesh back and is a good option as well.

Or worse, what would happen if you went into the water incapacitated enough not to be able to inflate it?
Gimme something that has less moving parts and takes care of itself every time.
