We hit the upper Blue lake today and conditions were perfect. We caught the standard issue 2#ers all day with some larger fish taken on the west end. Last years tour saw J. Shirk take the biggest fish victory on his first fish of the day. He was able to repeat this year with this fatty. Shirk is 6'5" 240ish so the fish doesnt look very big next to him, but trust me it was a bruiser. He nabbed it in the shadows with a baby bass senko. This lake is excellent for a mid week adventure and wouldnt be a bad choice for a kayak bass tourney. No wake allowed. We had over 40 fish between the 3 of us. Word on the water is that the trout bite is slow. County Park tommorrow, headed towards state park.
