I have been using Cabela's small green tackle bag. Its a nice bag, but, when I fish in the salt, all the zippers corrode. Any recommendation? Looking for 12 x 8 x 6 - in that general size.

.. Thanks

Nothing really resist the salt, clean the zipper with soap and water, when it dries spray with some corrosion resistant spray, then rinse the zipper after your done fishing.that should prolong your bag.hope this helps
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Here’s what I use, holds 3 Plano boxes so I have 9 of the boxes total so I just grab the 3 I need for day.... bay fishing, lake trout, ocean fishing...: disclaimer (bay and ocean may or may not contain salmon gear)

I'm assuming that this is non-yak? I use a Spiderwire fishing bag. It's pretty pricey at around $80 but it comes with an insulated storage compartment for drinks and the 3 included tackle boxes. It has a bunch of other handy pouches but it also has two fishing rod holders on the side. Super handy for when you're trekking out to fish.

I did away with tackle box and bag because of corrosion. Also I find myself not able to use all of it on trips so I chuck that notion out the window.
The ocean condition makes it hard for me to fiddle with setting up tackles/rigs. You sure you need one?  :smt044

There are lots of small soft-sided coolers on the market, all with nylon zippers.  I use a small NRS cooler, but I carry very little with me.

I put a thin layer of chap stick on my zippers then rinse everything off when done then I apply another layer.

If you want something not insulated and cheap/disposable....

I use my kids old discarded school backpacks.  Nylon zippers, lots of storage...Typical backpack will hold a couple 3700 boxes, a couple 3600 boxes with room for miscellaneous items.  Ross/Marshalls/TJ Maxx sells them cheap and goodwill is another good place to find them if you don't have a supply at home :smt003
