Another crazy build underway. Got the little sail boat without the sail rigging in a trade. My plan is to make it a sleeper for overnights on Tahoe, Bullard's bar and the delta! pulling the kayak out to play and stay overnight. Will post progress or utter failure. One man's trash sailboat might be my favorite boat build to use for kayak trip support. Anyone have a mast laying around?

my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

West Wights are cool boats - they're full on cruisers - in a small package.

Are you going to get a sail for it? (assume it has the mast and boom).  You should be able to get uses sails - maybe even for free, or make your own.

Will you bring it to the FnC at Bullards this year?

See ya,
Brian.

I got it without any of the standing rigging or sails... Trying to find stuff but no luck yet. Possibly bringing it to Bullard's if it's ready. My last sailboat built as a skiff died. Had to cut it up after it split due to age and sank!
