i tried them. they're kinda meh to me. I find getting a good solder connection with those is iffy compared to a crimp connector then heat shrink.  They also are very flexible and i just feel they're gonna snap at anytime.

I usually solder and use adhesive lined marine shrink tube, so this looks faster. But the low temp solder in it looks iffy.
I hate trying to track down bad connections.....

I have used this type of connector  when working on low voltage they work great just heat them up with a match
