Say hello to Marin Algae bloom

well its here. The annual marin algae bloom is in full swing.  I paddled brickyard, islands, SR canal yesterday at top of tide (incoming side) for naught. Massive algae mats all over, and ugly cloudy water.

The good news-- there is tons and tons of little bait (1-2") around these mats. As soon as the mats get carried off and the bloom subsides- the bait will still be around, and hopefully the stripers will come
