deffinatly rather have them delivered vs driving the 2 hours to the auto parts store.
Thanks for any input

I do a lot of maintenance on cars on my own, have learned to stick with name brand parts like brembo or factory oem. A lot of stuff they sell on the internet are cheap china knockoffs. You get what I pay for  that’s the honest truth.

I really like the kits I've been getting from ebay under the seller name Brakemotive.  Made in china yes, but seem to be high quality.

I'm a little hesatant about ordering auto parts online, but diving two hours just for the parts is also more than I want to do.
I also see coated break rotors designed to prevent rust, this is a major issue which is adding to the wear.

I have had good luck with purchasing vehicle parts for my truck, car and fifth wheel on Amazon or Ebay.  Only thing I have got that sucked was some Chinese made glow plugs.

Pay attention to the verified purchases and comments.  Some have a high rating because they only have 2 or 3 reviews.  If it’s sold by Amazon I will usually buy it but if it is a 3rd party I look for ones with more reviews over the price. Amazon has been great with credits or refunds everytime I have ever had an issue.  The price is usually similar to a local auto parts store but they almost never have what I need in stock so it usually takes 2 day for them to get it or I can just have them delivered to my door.

Go with OEM parts.

Look on Ebay the automotive dealers sell parts on there for usually 30- 50% off dealer parts counter price and they usually have free shipping if you look around.

What does OEM or brand really mean anymore?  Global sourcing and car assembly vs manufacturing is what happens today.  In many cases, a brand is nothing more than a label.  In the RX business, many generic drugs are sourced from the same manufacturer as the brand name products.  I'm far from an authority on car parts but the term OEM and brand are very different from what they once were on many products.  If the product is produced to the right specifications, the brand name is frequently meaningless.  I have personally witnessed generic and branded merchandise flowing from the same production lines;  not auto parts but I believe the same concept applies to most consumables.  It's the specifications and ingredients that matter.

I just did the front brakes on my Dodge truck.  I had the rotors resurfaced since they were still darn near new condition.  I did spring for fully loaded rotors though.  I've had bad luck with the piston seals leaking after they've been pressed back in to get the new pads fitted.  Job took maybe an hour not counting the time to run the rotors to Les Schwab to have them resurfaced.

Check with Rock Auto for parts.  I've found them to be cheaper than most for brand name brakes.  I went with Raybestos.
