Consumnes River Reserve hook up Sat 25 CANCELED

I was thinking of hitting the preserve on Saturday morning......haven't heard any reviews but I'm itching to check it out anyway.  Planning on launching around 7 AM in my dune Outback with the radio set to ch 69.  Who's with me?

Are you targeting striped bass?

Was there last Sunday and was eaten alive by mosquitos.  Bring repellent.  Fishing was slow with just a couple of small bass.

I hunted the reserve and bagged a turkey on Saturday. Ditto on the mosquitos, they were fierce!

I'm targeting mostly black bass but will take on any striper that gets in the way.

Something has come up and I will not be going to the Reserve on Saturday.  Sounds like the mosquitos are biting better than the fish.  Another time.  Thanks for everybody that chimed in.
