Hello everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you for allowing me to join this community. A friend recommended that I get on here. I am an avid fisherman but still fairly green when it comes to kayak fishing. In the short time that I have been kayak fishing it has been very fun, even when things don't go my way! In the coming weeks and months I am hoping to pick the brains of you kayak fishing gurus but most likely there is a thread that already has an answer. I am looking forward to what kayak fishing has in store. Very blessed to be in the Sacramento area, not too far from a lot of good fishing spots.

I have only been lake fishing(bass, catfish, trout, crappie, bluegill, etc.) because my kayak isn't ready to be out on the ocean yet. I am still working on piecing together some more essentials. The last salmon season I was with a friend in his boat but this season I will be out there with the kayak more.
