late notice American river 5-10

 well.....it was calm no wind and A nice sunset.I had one nice boil on top water popper action,but he did not stay pinned  .I think I will start the week night fishing club on the river, let me get some feed back  from the Sac crew on what night works for every one.

Sorry to hear you didn't catch one Sunny. I'm open for a few hours Sunday morning and plan to hit the Howe area. Did you fish below Howe? See any shad?????

 yes we went down to guy west then trolled back up. the water is very low this year, the island at the launch has A land bridge and all my good holes are dry or foot deep
 no shad  seen in that area but i think if you paddle up to watt and work the riffles.they are working around at the mouth so any time now. see you  in the morning.
