Fished between 7 and 9 AM from the south ramp (Mendo) and hooked a nice linesides within 5 minutes of launching. I learned these fish were working within the bouys since first light. The guy that informed me of this hooked two from the bank. At 7:30 I take off for Crappie Cove where I see a boil going for a long time. I get there and it peters out. There was a lot of shad way back in the coves, no wonder they were boiling. I met a newbie who was in them but didn't hook up.
I also hooked some largemouths that were busting along the shoreline.
There were no powerboats, it was glassy, it was warm. And I had to leave!
I'll be there tomorrow, got class this evening, otherwise I'd be there tonight. I think it's gonna be good...
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

Nice going Juan, Congrats on the 2nd placing too. I'm thinking about heading up for an overnighter during the week. Is it time? It's been breezy around here. Have the winds been kicking up around there? Looks like a steady weather pattern for this week, so I figure if it's been nice up there lately it should remain. Also, did you ever get my messege I sent you last week? Hopefully we can hook up this week.
