Been thinking about getting a yeti roadie.mostly for road trips and such so that the ice doesn't melt after some time on the road.

So I ran into an ad about the rtic 20.they claim to be as good as  the yeti and at a 60$ difference.

Any of you guys own any rtic?the good the bad the ugly
Thanks

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

I've been using an Rtic 45 for a year or two and it is great. Keeps ice for days and has a super high quality build. VERY comparable to YETI for much less $$$.
Also got the 20 size of their soft cooler a few months ago and the quality seems to be on par with my 45.

+1

I have the RTIC 65, RTIC Soft Cooler 20? and a number of the 30 oz tumbler.  I wouldn't even think of buying a YETI anymore!

I got a yeti and an rtic. The build is very comparable so there isn't much of a difference except price. The difference in price is going to be customer service. Rtic is pretty much non existent while I heard yeti is good with customer service.
Yeti is engineered in America but I think they both manufacturer their products in China.

Rtic is having a Black Friday sale so now maybe a good time to get one.
