I've been fishing black point harbor at the mouth of the Petaluma river. I've taken the yak out several times with little to no luck. I see folks coming in from San Pablo Bay with limits of striper and wondering what I'm doing wrong. Tried swim baits, single hook on a slider, mooch rig, worms, anchovies, squid mudsucker (live) and mudfish (live). Was fortunate enough to be gifted a keeper last week and got a chance to try a new recipe. Now I want my own. Help

Black point is tough... more then likely they’re out by the pump house. You’re better off hitting the river closer to ptown marina... or dropping in by San Rafael . Troll the edges of the river.

When you look outside the window, and all you see is fishing. True Story.
