Smoke is getting thick up here in Auburn/Weimar area. Can't imagine what it's like closer. With all the Dwellings and other non wood items burning. Remember to protect your lungs! Asthmatics, elderly, youth and infirm should have a medical mask at least. Stay inside or with a newer car some relief will be available from the AC filter (Cabin air filter). No joke here as it can bring on Pneumonia and permanent lung damage. A hoo rag with some gauze inside to help filter out particulate works well also. Prayers that these fires will get put out soon and evac when asked. Get that bug out car ready to go. Stay safe and lean on other members for help. Wish this wasn't happening. Stuff is just stuff. Please don't risk life and limb, get out safe.
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

It did feel funny putting on the NCKA hoo rag to drive into work this morning, but it happened.

Gonna need to get something finer if this persists. Which, please, do not persist.

It wasn't as bad today at work as it was yesterday.  The winds were low this morning and have been swirling a bit instead of blowing all the smoke from Santa Rosa towards the coast.  Its far from over though and with the winds forecasted to pick back up things could get serious again real quick!

N95 filter masks are what is being recommended.  A wet rag over your mouth is better than nothing though!
