Lobster Opener in Socal

Made the long drive down to LA last Friday and slept in the car so we could get on the water bright and early for the lobster opener. Was definitely stoked to grab my limit of bugs plus a bonus kelp crab and scallop. It was my first time trying kelp crab and I thought it was very good eating! 

Yeah Matt! What a catch!  Awesome load on the banks board!  And I think just about all the crabs are good.

I liked the kelp crab a lot more than sheep crab which I don't take anymore because I didn't really like their taste.
