Just curious what is the heaviest kayak you have loaded on the hullavator.

Been using mine for the revo13 (70#) and it has been fine, but was wondering how it would handle just an AI hull which is 102#.  Anyone ever load anything this heavy on it?

I have seen the PA14 on a hullavator, I guess it should be fine but on a windy day it's scary with anything sticking up high.
Did you get an AI ?

I put my outback on it all the time.  Not that heavy but I run tie down lines from front and back for extra security on longer trips.

Yeah, and Duane gets loaded up faster than anyone!  :smt003

The max capacity for the Hullavator as listed on Thule's website is 75#

Yep!   :smt003

Wow, PA14?  I didn't even think of attempting my PA12 since its so wide, but I guess if PA14 didn't break it, this won't...hopefully.

Hullavator are rated up to 75lbs. Its totally up to you whether to go beyond.

I've loaded Sonny's A.I. one time. Have to be careful about centering (weight-wise) the kayak when loading. The battery was still in the front hatch which nearly twisted the Hullavator into uselessness. I have also loaded an Outback on the Hullavator; it did obviously take (for me anyway) two people to load/unload as well as hoist the kayaks up in place.

There is a Thule suggested weight limit for the Hullavator of 75 pounds

The cradle width can be extended beyond the factory lock points. Had to be done once to be able to carry one of G-Whiz's rides home from Albion.

Load Outback and 13 revo on our hullivators (had to extend the width of the rack for the Outback). A little awkward to push up but doable.  If I'm by myself and only taking one kayak - I carry Outback in bed of truck.
