What Navionics settings are you asking about? I think I had to choose the fish and chips map to get the detailed map.

my Lowrance elite ti came with  2 navionices maps one for fresh and one for salt these are on thumbnails you  can choose to use the factory map or the navionices map going to you youtube it appears you can do wonderful things if you use the navionices maps  but honestly I'm just not as good as i used to be with with this kind of thing
alot of the wonderful things are based on settengs and user map upgrades witch you can donwload

A different map for fresh and salt? Mine came with a base map and I purchased a Navionics SD card for the detail map. Are you asking about FF settings rather than Navionics settings? There are lots of FF settings. Colors and backgrounds, sensitivity etc. I've only changed a few settings. I slowed down the speed that the display moves across the screen. I added a clock to the screen and a navigation pointer. Someone on the forum once promised to do seminars on Lowrance fishfinders but never did. I've never found really helpful info on YouTube so most of my settings are default.
