Looks like a small net suitable for lakes. If you want your existing net to be buoyant, you can try drilling the handle of your net with a few holes and filling it with expanding foam. That's what I did with my ocean net and no more attaching pool noodle to it.

I have one of that design I got a couple years back from ACK. It's a graceful way to make a net.

Can't comment on its efficacy, as I've not caught anything that I've needed it for, but it does, uh, float nicely.
