Has any one in the group kayaked the grand canyon before?

I'm looking into setting up a small group of 8 for next year on average it's 18-23 day trip.

Rafted it in small rafts in a private group of 9 folks.  It took us two years to get the permit - they weren't easy to come by.

Get towed upstream from Lees Ferry towards the dam. (we rented a small boat while we were there but I heard the tour guys will tow a kayak up... for a fee I'm sure.)

Drift down stopping on different beaches and fish for those crazy tail water trout with the canyon walls around you and the condors soaring over.  It's been a few years for me but I will go back and fish it again.
