bring live bait rigs 3or4 and 2 oz to 3 oz banana sinkers
i should be warm so you don't need a wetsuit
I will have live bait so if you have something to keep them in you should be set

the launch is just behind encinal high school at the encinal boat ramp

I can't make it tomorrow, but I would definitely like to join in the near future.  Can you give a few more details on what a live bait rig would look like?  What type and size hook, leader, swivels, etc?  I assume the sinker is on a slider and clip?  I'm really new to this kind of fishing.  Thanks!

Cool see you then I will stay with my grandma in san rafel tonight so I cant check the board.  I think i will were my wetsuit anyway because I dont have anything betwen wetsuit and savage safety shorts.

live bait rigs are tipicaly a carolina rig; slider with weight-swivel-leader-#1-#2/0 hook depending on bait size.

That should be fine, Insane will give ya hard time, I just find wearing a wet suit is comfortable, there is a little wind chill with the fog. I'm going to get down there @ 6:30, I have to be off the water early.

Another version of a live bait rig is a 3 way swivel tied to your main line with a drift ball (sinker) tied to the bottom loop of the swivel with ~8" - 10" of line between the swivel and the drift ball. And a a hook (size depends on bait) tied to the side loop of the swivel with ~ 2' -3' of line between the hook and the swivel.

Of course the lengths of line line between the swivel and the hook/drift ball don't have to be exact but I think the point is to have the line to the drift ball shorter than the line to the hook so the bait stays relatively close to the bottom and still has plenty of line to swim around in circles.
