Went to RS today to try my new ATC2K helmet cam. Wanted make a "fishing catching video", but the fish didn't want to be caught. I put my helmet on and turned the camera on anyway. Must have looked silly. Need to work on the video camera angle and movement. I'll try to piece together some clips to show the video quality.

So what do you do if the fish aren't biting? You enjoy the scenery and take a few wildlife photos!

This looked bassy:

Posing for the photo op.

The swans kept an eye on me.

And I did catch one fatty floating on the lake:

Ok...I was able to piece together a few frames from the video I took today. Not very good and the quality drops more when loaded into youtube. Have to work on the mounting angle. I'll get there...

Hope this works. :smt002

Didn't have time to put the cam on. That fatty hit hard..and man, did it fight! :smt003
I meant to release it at the lake but forgot. I'll let it go in my neighborhood to fight another day. :smt002

I look forward to the Big Bass too!!!

The video was taken with the ATC2000 helmet cam. I need a little more practice.

Nice job Al. I know all about the angle thing.
We will get it dialed in soon enough.
Almost went to RC yesterday. Still not feeling well enough. Glad I didn't waste my energy.

Sorry about the skunk but the video cam is a cool idea. You should bring it to the HMB derby and get Joel going "Ike" and talking smack. That would be would be worth watching.

That's it Adam. All self contained, except for the strap to mount on the helmet.

Here's some info:

I bought mine from Mountain Gear.

Mountain Gear Atc2000

This is an option. :smt002

Alfredo,

You can actually insert youtube inline in your posts.  Just copy the youtube id (the part after v= in the URL) and add the youtube tag.

Thank you!

I tried to do that but must have done it wrong. It kept locking up, so I just posted the link. I'm a low-tech old man.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
